The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Belize began the New Year by offering special early morning prayers followed by cleaning up parts of Belize City. This was followed by fun activities and lunch at BTL park. We would like to thank all those who participated in the cleanup and would like to especially recognize the support from Belize City Council in making the event possible.
Keeping in mind the harmful affects of littering, it is each and every one’s duty to help keep our beautiful country clean throughout the year.
Thank you to all who took the time out to attend our World Religions Conference, “My Faith… My Life”. The day began with a beautiful introduction from Deborah Sewell, who graciously accepted our invitation to be the moderator for the event. We had speakers representing Christianity, Rastafari and Islam. They presented scriptural readings, gave lectures and answered questions. A very special thanks to the speakers, organizers and especially the volunteers who worked tirelessly to make it a success. Also a heartfelt Thank you to the Belize Chaplain Services for their help in organizing the event.
We are looking forward to holding a similar event in the very near future.
We are proud to announce that both teams U19 & U17 from Ahmadiyya Basketball League representing Belize won all their games except one and brought home Silver. We would like to say special thanks to our sponsors for having faith in us: Kareem Musa, Humanity First Canada, Deborah Ann Sewell, RF&G Insurance, Bowen & Bowen (Jason Badillo), Bird’s Isle, SJC and many more. “Nations cannot be reformed without the reformation of Youth”.
